Instructions: Be cautious of the pink-colored blood vessel, or quick, in each nail and trim only the nail tip. The quick may be difficult to see in dark nails. Place tip of nail in clipper and push handles together. Make sure to cut nail tip at the angle depicted below. Cutting nails too short may cause bleeding. If you cut the quick, apply a coagulant (sold separately) to help stop the bleeding.
